Orthodontics refers to usage of fixed and removable devices in order to straighten teeth, so that your smile is pleasing and harmonious resulting in wellbeing and personal confidence.

Orthodontists are specialists who are specifically trained at universities to do only braces and they do not do fillings, crowns or other dental procedures.

Braces are also used in children to assist with facial growth, particularly jaw growth in order to enhance facial aesthetics. This is a difficult exercise as genetic influences cannot always be overwritten, sometimes surgery is the answer. This type of treatment (advance orthodontics) is also advisable.
